Nicki Karst
Idaho Falls, ID
Nicki Karst earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Idaho State University. She was employed as a medical office manager in Idaho Falls for 7 years and for the past 10 years has been a contract negotiator for national and statewide managed health care organizations. Currently, she is the Regional Networks Administrator for Idaho Physicians Network in their Idaho Falls office. She and her husband enjoy whitewater and scenic river rafting in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. Her interest in the CAB is based on family involvement (her father was a physicist at the INL for more than 30 years) and a concern for the financial viability of the lab as an economic driver for the area, as well as protection of our recreational and agricultural resources.
